Have several different projects going on right now that include: 3 old hemi engines, a couple of Ford Y-blocks, two FE engines (BOTH 390's), a couple of Corvette 327 engines, a 389 GTO engine, a Porsche 944 race engine, another WRX Subie engine that's getting a 4" big bore kit, a bunch of pieces for a 3.0 911 race engine for balancing and reconditioning, a couple of XKE engines in various states of rebuild, and the list goes on and on. No wonder I'm working 6-7 days a week, huh? LOL.....

 

Have been toying with the idea of making a foundry furnace so that I can do some casting projects that I've been wanting to do for a while. Where I'll find the time to do all this is still to be determined. Ha........

Just received a 2000 Fiat Marea engine in the shop this week. The 1,6 liter DOHC 4-valve engine will fit in the X1/9, Fiat 128, and Yugo chassis. This engine will be setup for a turbocharger for an X1/9 down in San Clemente. There will be a lot of new products made for this engine, so stay tuned for more info as the project progresses. This enigne is pretty cool because is has 4-valves per cylinder, hydraulic lifters, 1,6 liters, and it has a FI manifold. More later.......

Spent the afternoon making an adpater for the Fiat 500 so that you can install a Fiat 850 (30 DIC) 2bbl carb. Will post pix soon. The  adapter bolts onto the stock phenolic carb base. This setup should extend the rpm range by several hundred RPM's. The 850 carb must be installed backwards to fit and linkage will have to modified to make the installation complete, but this shouldn't be any big problem. Will post further info as the engine is setup and run. More later........
